The Pittsburgh ASHE Golf Outing is rich with tradition as we keep records of individual scores each year and use a traditional handicap “DOT” system format. Your handicap is based on the most recent three scores from this Outing or as provided during registration. The scorecards provided will use your handicap to apply the appropriate amount of DOTS (strokes) to the specific course holes based on their level of difficulty. You simply record your NET score after subtracting the amount of DOTS from your gross score. Your team score is the lowest NET score from your foursome. A sample scorecard is provided for your reference below. Please review prior to the event to avoid submitting an incorrect scorecard.
This year’s outing took place on May 26th, 2017 and although we had some light rain early in the day, the sun came out and everyone enjoyed the new venue and excellent course conditions. Congratulations to the foursome of Frank Cippel, Chris Prisk, Matt Kusic, and Gina Russell who were the 2017 Champions with a TEAM NET score of 48. They were the true definition of timely team play, as individually their scores netted +2 (+4-3+2-1 = +2) compared to their handicaps.
To help celebrate their accomplishments, Pittsburgh ASHE is proud to recognize our past team and individual champions which are shown below – Congratulations to All!
The ASHE Outing also witnessed its first Hole-in-One, as Brad Miller aced the 158 yard Par 3 sixth hole. Lucky for him ASHE had already paid for the drinks. Congrats Brad!
